Shaping prims

A prim is a plain shape with no art of its own. Everything players build is made of them.

New prim puts a one-metre square on the ground a couple of paces in front of you, already in your hand. From there:

  • Shape — square, wedge, tube or ball. The piece keeps its place, size, turn and paint; only the solid changes. A wedge is a roof.
  • Stretch it on any of the three axes, up to twelve metres.
  • Copy this piece makes a second exactly like it, half a metre to the side. Copying is how anything bigger than a shed gets built: shape one wall properly, then take four of it.
  • Take this down (or Del) removes the one in your hand and gives the materials back.
  • Undo last change (or U) steps back through what you did, thirty deep — every drag, paint, reshape and deletion is its own step, including a piece you took down by aiming at it and pressing E.
Undo lasts as long as your session. Close the tab and the history goes with it. What survives is Bring lost pieces back, which finds anything of yours stranded far above or below the ground and returns it to the surface.

The world is waiting.
